The Provost & Vice President for Academic Affairs, reports directly to the President, serves in the President’s absence, and, in collaboration with the President and in consultation with faculty, is responsible for establishing and maintaining academic standards and for developing college-wide academic policies and procedures, as well as advancing the college role and mission. The college instructional Deans report directly to the Provost & Vice President of Academic Affairs. The Provost & Vice President of Academic Affairs collaborates with other public institutions and the Idaho State Board of Education in the development and implementation of statewide higher-education academic policies.
State Authorization
Lewis-Clark State College is authorized by the National Council for State Authorization Reciprocity Agreement (NC-SARA) and meets the requirements and minimum educational standards established for degree-granting.
