General Studies: Education BA/BS

The General Studies Education major introduces students to the following disciplines: education, literacy, and special education. Students select courses for a broad-based study in the overarching area of education. The major allows for flexibility in course selection and degree design.

Credits earned while completing the educational requirements for the Early Childhood Development AAS certificate through Business Technology & Service Division articulate directly into the LC State General Studies: Early Childhood Education degree option offered through the Teacher Education & Mathematics Division. Students should work with advisors from both divisions to ensure requirements from both programs are met.
