Biology Minor

The eleven minors offered by the Physical, Life, Movement & Sport Sciences Division are designed to enrich students’ academic experience by strengthening critical thinking, scientific reasoning, and problem-solving skills. These minors complement a wide range of majors—both within and outside the division—and provide valuable interdisciplinary connections for students studying any discipline.

While many students within the division find a minor that naturally aligns with their major, students from other programs, including nursing and education, also benefit from the skills and content that these minors provide. Students seeking a minor for teacher certification should consult with both their academic advisor and the Teacher Education and Mathematics division to ensure proper course selection.
