Room Division Management ITC

Students enrolling in the Room Division Management Intermediate Technical Certificate option (in the Hospitality Management program) will receive training specific to hotel management. Participation in internships is required of all students in this program. This coursework is certified by the American Hotel and Lodging Association and the National Restaurant Association.

Upon completion of the Room Division Management Intermediate Technical Certificate, the student will:

  • Demonstrate proficiency in technological methods and functions of the hotel front office  
  • Demonstrate understanding of the communications process needed in working within the hospitality industry
  • Understand issues and concerns for safety and security of guests, property, and employees
  • Develop the ability to supervise and train employees and to oversee housekeeping operations

Completion of a Technical Skills Assessment is required.
