Food & Beverage ITC

Students enrolling in the Food and Beverage Management Intermediate Technical Certificate option (in the Hospitality Management program) will receive training specific to restaurant and bar and beverage management. Participation in internships is required of all students in this program. This coursework is certified by the American Hotel and Lodging Association and the National Restaurant Association. Upon completion of the Food and Beverage Management Intermediate Technical Certificate, the students will:
- Develop the ability to supervise and train employees in all aspects of Food and Beverage Operation
- Demonstrate understanding of the communication process needed in working within the hospitality industry
- Develop the ability to oversee food, bar and beverage operations
- Demonstrate proper compliance with FDA sanitation codes
- Perform and demonstrate all aspects of delivering exceptional guest service
Completion of a Technical Skills Assessment is required.
