Hospitality Management BA/BS

The Hospitality Management major is designed to provide students with a broad skill set of the competencies in the hospitality industry. The degree combines professional-technical education in hospitality management with academic upper-division discipline courses in the business division. Students who declare this major must either be concurrently enrolled in an AAS Hospitality major or have already earned an AAS in Hospitality Management. This major provides an excellent entry point for hospitality management training programs.

Students must earn at least a "C" in MATH, ECON, and PSYC-101.

Students must also earn at least a "C" in all business courses (a "C-" is not acceptable) and earn at least a 2.5 grade point average in all business courses combined, including Accounting and Economics.

NOTE: Students declaring a BS/BA in Hospitality Management should also declare an AAS in Hospitality Management as a major, or have already completed an accredited AAS in Hospitality Management.
